IGEA is excited to announce an exciting new opportunity thanks to Creative Victoria, The MIGW Award!

The MIGW Award is a new award sponsored by Creative Victoria that stands alongside the AGDAs.

Thanks to the generous support of Creative Victoria this incredibly bespoke award provides a Victorian digital games studio a unique opportunity to power their future.  This studio must be less than 5 years old and have a game in progress or recently released.

The MIGW Award will provide the winner direct access to resources to grow their games businesses. The recipient will work closely with the Creative Victoria team over a 6- month period, receiving mentoring and enterprise support across areas such as business services, investment connections, PR support, administration and professional networking.

In addition to receiving business support, the winner of the inaugural MIGW AGDA will receive an AGDAs trophy and recognition at the AGDAs award ceremony on 4 October plus inclusion in all ‘winners’ communications.

Studios will be chosen based on the following factors:

• Clear studio vision/aspirations
• Demonstrable studio culture committed to upskilling, growth and encouraging a variety of skillsets
• Employees demonstrate a diversity of backgrounds, cultures and identities
• Participation in the Victorian games community
• Exciting marketable & well-scoped project(s) currently in development
